Lightweight Secure Integer Comparison

چکیده
We solve the millionaires problem in semi-trusted model with homomorphic encryption without using intermediate decryptions. This leads to computationally least expensive solution so far, a low bandwidth and very storage complexity. The number of modular multiplications needed is less than for one Pallier encryption. output protocol can be either publicly known, encrypted, or secret-shared. private input first player secure towards second player, even unconditionally player. also introduce an efficient client-server similar security properties.

Practical and Secure Solutions for Integer Comparison
Yao’s classical millionaires’ problem is about securely determining whether x > y, given two input values x, y, which are held as private inputs by two parties, respectively. The output x > y becomes known to both parties. In this paper, we consider a variant of Yao’s problem in which the inputs x, y as well as the output bit x > y are encrypted. Referring to the framework of secure n-party com...
متن کاملEncrypted integer division and secure comparison
When processing data in the encrypted domain, homomorphic encryption can be used to enable linear operations on encrypted data. Integer division of encrypted data however requires an additional protocol between the client and the server and will be relatively expensive. We present new solutions for dividing encrypted data in the semi-honest model using homomorphic encryption and additive blindi...
متن کاملSecure & Lightweight Distance-Bounding
Distance-bounding is a practical solution aiming to prevent relay attacks. The main challenge when designing such protocols is maintaining their inexpensive cryptographic nature, whilst being able to protect against as many, if not all, of the classical threats posed in their context. Moreover, in distancebounding, some subtle security shortcomings related to the PRF (pseudorandom function) ass...
متن کاملLightweight Secure Group Communication
An advantage of today’s high speed networks is the ability to support group communication. Applications that support group communication allow the free exchange of ideas and data in real time, regardless of the physical distance between the participants. Unfortunately, support for additional protocol features such as reliability, secrecy, and total ordering in the multicast context requires mor...
متن کاملProtocol Independent Lightweight Secure Communication
This paper introduces a new protocol independent security mechanism, called PILSC (Protocol Independent Lightweight Secure Communication). PILSC utilizes the security feature of IPv4, defined but not used yet, in order to have standardization in secure communication. We aim to increase the efficiency of the secure data transfer by means of examining the shortages of different security protocols...
